What’s Inside the Incubator?
Our eggs are kept in a warm, safe incubator, just like a mother hen would care for them. Here’s what’s happening:
-
Temperature is set at 99.5°F to keep the eggs warm.
-
The eggs are gently turned throughout the day to help the chicks grow properly.
-
Candling lets us check on development—we may even see movement inside the egg!
When the time is right, the chicks will start hatching, using their tiny egg tooth to break free. This process can take several hours, so be patient!
